RESOLVING CONFLICTS

Sometimes there are conflicts between trustees or executors and beneficiaries.  Often we are able to head off such conflicts by opening lines of communication, even when they've been closed for many years.

If you are looking for lawyers who will help you perpetuate family discord, we are not the right law firm for you.  However, if you are ready to resolve current or long-standing family disharmony, we might be able to help.  Making a family settlement agreement can save everyone thousands of dollars in litigation expense.

We also use our substantial creative skill to design plans that address all of the concerns of conflicting family members and all of our estate plans are designed with an eye towards heading off conflict before it ever arises.

For example, in any blended family (second marriage situation) a potential for conflict between the second spouse and the children from a prior marriage always exists.  We design our blended-family plans to take into account this potential conflict and to help the family stay together even after the death of a parent.
